Schizophrenia is a serious, chronic and worsen mental illness. This disease is spread world wide and 1% people are suffer this disease.

Schizophrenia is characterized by positive symptoms results hallucinations and negative symptoms results delusions like emotional numbness occours.

Schizophrenia literally meaning is splitting of mind so those people are affected in this disease they are show multiple personality .  

There are many drugs are use for the treatment of Schizophrenia but some are cure positive symptom and some are cure negative symptoms. 

How to Identified the Schizophrenia disease?

In this disease have lots of symptoms and different symptoms are seen in different patients. Mostly we classified in to 2 type

  •         Cognitive

Example of Disorganized speech is “ if some ask any question they give the answer in that way sence of answer is nothing”

Disorganized behavior

Example of Disorganized behavior  “ they wear rain coat in summer when more heat in atmosphere”

Catatonic behavior
Catatonic behavior example are “Stupor, catalepsy, waxy flexibility, mutism, negativism”

Negative symptoms

  1. Removal of normal process
  2. Decrease emotions
  3. Loss of interests
  4. Flat affect
  5. Inappropriate responses
  6. Cognitive
  7. This symptoms is affect memory, learning and understanding.

Schizophrenia have three different phase

  • Prodromal
  • Active
  • Residual

All the phase are interlinking each other.
